Thank you for your interest in the 32nd Annual Peoples Festival. Please read the following
information carefully. It is important that everyone is aware of the rules and regulations of

vehicles will be permitted on the grass at any time. No vehicle or stationary
equipment shall interfere with tree branches or overhead wires. You must use
Green Street to enter the park.

must be paid in cash prior to receiving a vendor’s permit.

Temporary Hand Wash Station

Typical circumstances when temporary hand wash stations may be used include:

  • Emergency conditions caused by water supply or plumbing failures.

  • Outdoor recreational activities or mass gatherings that may involve soiling of hands
from animals, the environment or other contaminants.

  • Temporary food handling activities associated with special event activities.

Special Event Food Service

Frequent and thorough hand washing is the first line of defense in the prevention of food
borne disease when handling foods. The provision of adequate hand washing facilities is
required for all special event food handling activities. The use of disposable gloves
provides an additional barrier to food contamination but is not a substitute for hand
washing. Pre-packaged cleaning towelettes and hand sanitizing gels have limited ability to
substitute for hand washing applicable to food handling situations.

Special event temporary hand washing requires planning for removal of waste water
generated by hand washing activities and replenishment of the water.
